Romina Zano

Romina Zano graduated in law from the University of Tirana in 2011 and in 2013 completed a Master of Science in Criminal Justice in the Criminal Law Department of the Faculty of Law.

Since 2014 she has provided her legal expertise to various international organisations such as USAID, the Altri Centre and others.

Since 2015 she has worked, with the support of the Open Society Foundation for Albania, on studies and reports aimed at improving legislation in the fields of financial supervision, taxation and public expropriation.

Since 2014 she has practised as an advocate at the Law Office “Rakipi & Partners”, focusing on the resolution and defence of litigation involving civil, commercial and administrative matters. She has also provided extensive legal advice to commercial companies and banks, acted in sports arbitration proceedings, and, through her mediation skills, concluded legal settlements between private parties, successfully improving the outcomes her clients expected.
