Privacy notice

Who we are. The data controller is Rakipi & Partners Law Office sh.p.k., NIPT M01908027N, Rruga "Ibrahim Rugova", Green Park Tower, Tower 1, Floor 11, Ap. 54, Tirana. For any question or request about your data: info@rnp.al.

What data we process. Your name, email, telephone, company and the content of the message you send us; for clients, also the documents and case data; for job applications, your CV and covering letter.

Why, and on what basis.

To answer your message: our legitimate interest and the steps you request before a contract.

To carry out the engagement: our contract with you.

To meet legal obligations, including those on anti-money laundering and file retention: legal obligation.

For job applications: steps prior to an employment contract.

Professional secrecy. As advocates, we keep client information confidential under Law no. 55/2018 "On the profession of the advocate in the Republic of Albania".

Who receives the data. The providers that support us technically: [website hosting provider and country], [email provider and country], [form provider, if external]. Public authorities, only where the law requires it. We do not sell the data and do not release it for marketing.

Transfers outside Albania. [If any provider is located outside Albania: the country and the safeguard used, for example an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.]

How long we keep it. Messages that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after 12 months. Client files are kept for as long as the laws on advocates and on anti-money laundering require. Job applications are deleted once the selection is complete, unless you agree that we keep them for a future vacancy.

Your rights. You have the right to request access to your data, its correction, erasure or restriction, to object to processing, and to receive the data in a portable form. Send your request to info@rnp.al. You also have the right to complain to the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection.

The law. This notice rests on Law no. 124/2024 "On personal data protection" and, where applicable, on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
